Heavy Duty Sliding Doors

Introduction
Heavy Duty or Oversize Sliders offer increased Architectural opportunity. Thermosash suite sections allow for large sliders, single or multiple stacking. These are commonly specificed where vehicle or over height access is required into a building for example car sales yards and convention centers.

The hardware systems that Thermosash allows for offers easy sliding or integration of automated door opening gear where required and high loading / trafficability over the sliding tracks.

Frame Size
An example of one of the largest glazed sliding doors we have installed  is located at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland measuring 4mtrs x 4mtrs. The limitation is generally with maximum transport loads and glass weight, however larger doors can be transported CKD and assembled on site where necessary.

The stile section for the over-sized sliding doors is generally 100mm and is capable of receiving double glazed units up to 24mm. Depending on the door size and other environmental factors such as wind - stiffiners maybe required.

Specification 
We recommend using Masterspec 4251TS Commercial Windows when specifying this suite.

Surface Finishing 
Polyester powdercoat  - Both standard and special colours available.
Anodised - All anodised colours available - commercial grade 20 micron finish recommended.
PVF2 Flourocarbon finishes - Available on request.
