Health & Safety Champion of Champions

Deodor Martusheff (Insite Facades Site Manager at CRL Aotea Station) was recently awarded the Aotea Station Link Alliance Health and Safety Champion of Champions Award - for recognition of his consistent commitment to safety including teaching his team safe practices on a daily basis. The award, a uniquely hand painted hardhat, was presented by Francois Dudouit the CRL Project Director and master tunneller. The award is only presented once a year per CRL station, and Deodor was selected from amongst 400 people working at the Aotea Station.

This is a very significant and noteworthy recognition due to the stringent industry leading health and safety standards that Link Alliance, the consortium delivering the development of the entire tunnel systems and stations, aspire to.

Insite Facades (part of the Thermosash Group) is exceptionally proud of Deodor and his entire on-site team of facade installers - the team have received extremely positive feedback from Link Alliance across all 3 stations for the outstanding job they are doing.

CRL when completed will have twin tunnels which connect Britomart with Mount Eden Station, as well as two central city stations - Karangahape with access via Mercury Lane and Beresford Square, and the other Te Waihorotiu (Aotea) located on Albert St, with access via Victoria and Wellesley streets.

Thermosash Group congratulate Deodor on his award, and his entire team for maintaining excellent standards for health and safety on site.
