Glass Fins & Louvres

Introduction 

Thermosash has the unique ability to design and integrate complex glass elements into our façades beyond that perceived capable by many. This is possible from our many years in the industry, our capable engineers and installation crews. 

Our curtain and panelwalls are capable of cantilevering glass fins and screens up to 1000mm from the face of our curtainwall, with no additional structure require by other trades.

The glass can be purely aesthetic or, with ceramic fritting and with input from our glass engineers, become a performance based solar shading or privacy glass element.

Specification 

We recommend using Masterspec 4211TS Curtainwalling or Masterspec 4251TS Commercial Windows in conjunction with specialty glazing when specifying this system.

Surface Finishing 


Cermic frit is a specialist surface finish - we recommend talking to us about your design to ensure a warrantable finish is produced.

Maximum Spanning Ability

As glass fins and screens are a highly bespoke system - they are always specifically engineered to suit your project.  Call us to discuss your spans and bracketing system requirements.

Warranty

The standard warranty is 5 years from the date of practical completion for these products. This covers workmanship and weather tightness, providing the subcontract includes fabrication, installation and glazing of all components.
