Large Format Porcelain

Overview

Our range of unitised curtainwalls are capable of incorporating many vision and non-vision material options - offering almost limitless aesthetic flexibility while providing seismic resilience and ease of buildability.

The integration of highly durable, low maintenance, non-combustible large format sintered porcelain into our high performance range of unitised curtainwalls, along with our speed of installation, offers one of the best all-round investments in your building's facade.

We provide an integrated service of engineering, manufacture and installation of our proven systems and bespoke façade solutions. We offer this integrated service as early sub-contractor involvement (ECI or ECE Engagement) for construction documentation prior to consent, assisting with technical detailing across the full range of our systems, this ensures that we are able to provide specific engineered suite and system solutions to effectively turn your facade concepts into buildings of excellence.

Benefits of utilising large format sintered porcelain;

  • Waterproof: Its extremely low porosity makes it impervious to water absorption and resistant to stains, making it ideal for wet locations.
  • UV Resistance: Colours do not fade away when exposed to sun light or other extreme weather conditions.
  • Resistant to High temperatures: Non-combustible and does not emit smoke or toxic substances when subjected to high temperatures.
  • Resistance to wear and tear: Its hard surface makes it resistant to scratches and abrasions.
  • Bending resistance: It has a high shear rate, making it resistant to heavy loads and pressure.
  • Environmentally friendly: The stone is composed entirely of natural material making it completely recyclable.
  • Easy To Clean: Resistant to most chemical cleaning agents such as bleach or ammonia - making it easy to clean graffiti or pollutants from exterior cladding.
  • Hygienic: Extremely low porosity prevents the growth of bacteria or fungus which may lead to allergies or illnesses.
  • Optimized energy consumption: Resistance to extremely high and low temperatures makes it ideal for ventilated façades. The thermal insulation and ventilation between the stone façade and the building itself optimizes the building’s energy consumption considerably.

Please note: Colours, finishes, sizes, thickness and quantities are subject to availability at the time of procurement.
