Thermosash SolveilTM solar shading elements are custom designed to meet project requirements. Our in-house engineers deliver on architectural design intent whilst taking into consideration structural constraints, environmental requirements and loading. We manufacture at our premises in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and can custom clad the fin with almost any durable material.
Our extruded and composite fin solutions are able to be seamlessly integrated with our Thermosash suites - the brackets often do not require any secondary structure to support the shading or aesthetic devices, including downpipe brackets or signage - thereby maintaining a weathertight exterior. The integration has the added advantage of managing seismic differential movement amongst the building elements.
Our products and elements are prefabricated and unitised which streamlines production, anticipates just-in-time site delivery and enables our highly skilled installation teams to close in buildings rapidly - saving on programme timeframes and mitigating follow on trade risk.
Low-Carbon Aluminium
Thermosash partners with a local NZ-owned extruder achieving a lower carbon footprint than the global average - offering reduced upfront carbon emissions. (find out more about our Sustainable Aluminium).
Aluminium is 100% recyclable, and the aluminium from our manufacturing process that is not powdercoated is environmentally managed back to our key suppliers and processed back into raw billet form.
