UOC ICT Building

University of Canterbury, Innovation Centre of Technology was built to maximise performance, weather tightness and aesthetic requirements. Each facade's orientation to its environment was designed for.

Thermosash delivered the following facade solutions;

• Structural glass entrances
• Heavy duty integrated sliding & hinged doors
• Louvres
• Mechanised Solarshading
• Total Vision solarshade screen
• Framed skylight

The ICT Building has won a number of awards:

• 2010 Winner - Sustainability and Clean Technology Category, New Zealand Engineering Excellence Awards 
• 2010 Winner - Education & Healthcare Category, Institution of Structural Engineers, UK (IStructE) Awards
