Project Overview

Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui (The Window to the Wider World), Wellington Central Library located in the CBD is a hub for library services, archive materials, and cultural events and exhibits.

The redesign of the library by Athfield Architects, in collaboration with Tihei Ltd, brings together the history of the site, artistic inspiration of the flora and fauna from New Zealand forests and modern design and construction techniques and materials.

Thermosash is proud to be part of this iconic redevelopment that acts as a bridge between the past and the future and provides an inspiring public space for all to enjoy.
