O'Rorke Hall - UOA Student Residences

The O'Rorke Hall Student Residences operated by the University of Auckland were due to undergo some remedial work due to some poor performing windows and upgrades required to the decks and stairwell glazed areas. The project could only be undertaken over the Christmas period due to the high dependency on the accommodation over the the academic year. Early engagement and carefully thought out programming of the work meant that the full contract works could be achieved over only two Christmas close down periods.

Stage 1 & 2 (2016-2017);

• PW800 Unitised Curtainwall to stairway
• Delta Commercial Suite punch windows
• Delta Commercial Suite sliders
• Aluminium rainscreen with integrated channel glazed louvres. Louvred glass covers the common room areas to provide sheltered, ventilated protection to the decks.
• Rooflight
