Centre City (Suncity) Mall Skylight

The design team for the Suncity Mall in New Plymouth were looking for a roof glazing solution that could manage the heat load imposed on the 5800mm spanning atrium. The team were looking to span it in a single sheet of glass to mitigate any potentials for midspan joints that can be a contributing cause to staining of the glass as water washes over it.

The glass installation was double glazed, ceramic fritted, 5800mm single length.
